Definitely one up there .... had his fights been held outside of stateside and not him being the home fighter, he probably would have had 3 or 4 Ls on his record and be the equivalent of an Andre Dirrell.... Super skilled and talented yes, but super dirty and hometown boy.... Check out the Kessler fight, poor Kessler had no fkn idea how to handle all the intentional headbutts and was shocked by the referee. .. that was the start.

You don't unintentionally duck your head and come forward into your opponents head 30+ times in a fight. Ward can put on a clinic without being dirty but he felt the need to be dirty, so he is a dirty fighter.

id say hes the dirtiest fighter ever, seriously. hes used an array of different fouls throughout his career, all on show, clinches, low blows, elbows and headbutts.
