We all have to be honest here and say, that was a horrible performance by wilder. He was absolutely clueless in that fight and easily got outboxed by ortiz. He deserves credit for the heart that he showed and the way he came back, but if it wasn't for his straight right hand he would be a gatekeeper type fighter. How the judges had wilder ahead on the cards terrifies me.

if you look at his fights, youd notice no significant change.

thing is, when a dude gets rocked, they look as if their legs are broken.

      serg was rocked

... Martin Murray floored Sergio two times, back in 2013... As I said back then: Sergio's legs were gone...

            Agreed

One has to wonder are wilder fans confused nba fans who have no idea what boxing is, the guy got outboxed and nearly stopped in 8 rounds before the 50 year old gassed so wilder won because of that

From looking at all the threads in the first page ****ting on Wilders win, I'll assume it's peak hour in the UK right now.

The problem is this: even if the Op is right about ortiz being 50, that still doesn't change the fact that Wilder just beat an opponent that is harder hitting and technically superior to Anthony Joshua...who happens to have been a southpaw to boot.

I can see why that is scary af to AJ fan.

You guys have a right to be shytting yourselves...

OK someone please explain to me why some people can't be a fan of a boxer unless they possess absolutely textbook boxing skills. Yeah Wilder isn't going to write a book on boxing fundamentals but he has a killer punch and charisma. Reading the comments by some I get the impression they are more snob than boxing fans.
