I personally don't feel we hate on American fighters. In fact, I think the boxing is one of the few sports in the UK where you'll see 'boxing fans' support a foreign fighter against one of their own.

British fans have more hatred and spite for domestic scraps due to their region or history. It's one of the many reasons why Fury vs AJ is bigger than Wilder/(Ortiz) vs AJ.
