As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Luis Nery, who failed to make weight ahead of his WBC bantamweight title match against Japanese challenger Shinsuke Yamanaka earlier this week, was suspended indefinitely by the World Boxing Council on Friday. Nery was stripped of his world title on Wednesday, the day of the weigh-in for his maiden defense, and now will no longer be eligible to compete for a WBC title or appear in its rankings.

His self centered lack of remorse is childish. As if everybody will forget the drugs, missing weight badly and he'll be good from now on. Losing a fight is bad, losing integrity is worse. Nery won because his skills, agility and boxing. Not by PEDS and less by weight.

In the second fight there was not an advantage to Nery.

Both fighters were in the right weight in the ring since Yamanaka team controlled the rehydration of Nery.
