A lot of quality and exciting fighters and we have some really good match-ups in the future. We still dont know who is the best fighter, so the division is IMO wide open at the moment.
I think the LHW division could be the most promising division right now. I also like WW, the HW and MW divison.
Artur Beterbiev
Adonis Stevenson
Sergey Kovalev
Badou Jack
Marcus Browne
Dmitry Bivol
Sullivan Barrera
Eleider Alvarez
Oleksandr Gvozdyk
Anthony Yarde
Joe Smith Jr
Yarde doesn't belong anywhere near that list. Buatsi would school him right now. Hutchison beats him as well IMO.
Might as well have Buglioni on there if you got Yarde lol.

I think its too early to tell, Yarde has smashed everyone to bits he has faced but he really does need to step up his opposition as he hasn't fought anyone decent. Buatsi and Hutchinson have had so few fights as well it is hard to tell, all have good potential though.
I would actually say Yarde has looked the most impressive from what I have seen, then Buatsi and then Hutchinson. This could soon change though when they all step up in class.
What about the semi-finals of the WBSS? both were great fights between champions and entertaining..... not to mention the quality of fighters.
Edit: Cruiserweight I mean
Neither fight got me up out of my chair or had any drama. I think the problem is that big fighters these days are just so robotic, there seems to be little style, flair or smoothness. I thought Usyk might change that but he hasnt looked all that in his last 2 fights since Glow.
A division is only exciting when the top fight the top, best v best. That is only happening in 3 divisions out of the entire sport - super fly, super middle and cruiser and its only super fly that has produced great fights thus far.
Light heavy is just as meaningless now as it was back when Stevenson and KOvalev couldnt get it done.

Damn, maybe you are just not as invested in the fighters or something ...... I will never understand how any one can't get into both of those fights? 2 of the best going at it and totally contrasting styles.... to me, it was amazing production on the TV coverage, amazing build-up videos with translations, and the fights were top quality.... rarely seen in any division. Usyk, Breidis, Gassiev and Dorticos are all amazing fighters with different styles...... to each their own

Admittedly I'm not that invested in the fighters, then again I wasnt that invested in estrada/sur/cuadras/roman but all of them produced fights I wanted to watch again. I honestly cant imagine sitting through 12 rounds of usyk v breidis again, jab jab, mechanical power shot, hug.
Oh and I dunno what coverage you watched but the ITV stuff was horrible. They had huge moments of silence. huge sections where the camera just trained on the ring with no discussion because they didnt even have pundits. They only somewhat upped their coverage for groves/eubank but the overall series has been leagues behind channel 5, let alone sky.
