It's time to move on from the early 2010s era. Arum is trying to milk pac because he knows that he still has his diehard cult base but his time is up. Cotto has retired, hopefully mayweather stays retired and pac should hang it up too. There's enough current talent to focus on instead of watching recycled stars.

I have a lot of respect for Bob Arum with all hes done for the sport and for his fighters the last 50 years but this is one of the times I have to say I dont like how hes treating Manny. Manny has been Arums top fighter and probably made Arum more money than any other fighter hes ever had. Not to mention even if Manny only brings in half the viewers as he did against Horn which is unlikely he would still be Top Ranks biggest draw. Manny should be the headliner no matter who he fights, at least until his popularity falls off dramatically which I dont see happening

I love how everyone keeps saying Manny is washed up. Manny fought better against Jeff Horn than guys like Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter normally fight. He threw over 600 punches. He may have slowed down a bit over the years but hes still a top welterweight until proven otherwise. Most people believe he beat Jeff Horn

Manny should be grateful for everything Arum has done for him. If Bob thinks it's best that he fight Alvarado on the undercard then Manny should forget about Matthysse and go with the flow.

Arum has been doing this for a long time, Pac shouldn't let his wants or his pride get in the way of business.

              Psyche! LOL

Wait what... so now Pacquiao's career depends on outside investors? Wtf is this even what. PUT HIM ON A ****ING CARD AGAINST A TOP OPPONENT, YOU ARE HIS PROMOTER, stop BSing his career away.

he's not a top welterweight any more. Not a top 5 at least and he'd likely lose vs both garcia and porter since you mentioned them and he definitely loses vs Thurman, Spence, and Crawford.

                    Winner After all.

Manny will be Manny. Whatever he chooses his achievements will be hard to break. Maybe someday.

Go with the flow to help boost somebody else’s pay per view ratings? I don’t think so, Pac should just retire or if he wants to keep fighting, he should leave Arum and fight guys like Thurman, Garcia, or Spence.
