I'm sorry, but.I just don't see it. Wilder does not have a better jab or accuracy than Ortiz. Fighting off the back foot won't help because Ortiz can cut off the ring and he is an excellent body puncher. I honestly think Ortiz wins this fight. Looking at the weight disparity, it doesn't look like it's going to be an easy night for Wilder.

it's something called stamina. Wilder has to survive 4 rounds then simply outwork Ortiz by keeping him on the outside with his superior reach and footwork.

Ortiz is older and 30 lbs heavier. he will not be able to keep up with the activity and he will get outboxed down the stretch.

Ortiz has the better foot work and balance. I've also never seen Ortiz get gassed either. I really have a feeling that Wilder gets stopped.

Idk that outboxing decides the fight so idk that it matters if he does or not. I think someone is going night night. And usually its Wilder assigning the bed time.

I do feel like this is no worse than his 2nd best opponent & you could easily argue its his best opponent. And lesser guys have outboxed Wilder for a period of time before being KO'd so that wouldn't be that unusual a thing if it did happen here, but this fight has a high probability of a KO so I don't see the outboxing mattering so much. One could certainly argue that between Ortiz's superior skill, as seen as many, southpawness + his power that he presents a new & unique challenge to Wilder that could turn the tide of the fight his way & I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that assessment I must admit.

Thats why I'm leaning towars this being a 50/50ish fight with slight lean towards Wilder, but this fight is up in the air outboxing ability by either or nah.

I’ll take Ortiz by points or mid to late stoppage when Wilder starts to fall behind on points and gets reckless.

Wilder is going to stop Ortiz, people need to look at everything when going into a fight. I would be shocked if Wilder loses tomorrow, Ortiz has had how many rounds in the last 2 fights? The last time he went 12 rounds it was with Malik ‘Freaking’ Scott!! On paper this fight should be Wilder hardest fight but in reality it shouldn’t.

He doesn't have to outbox him he just have to land bigger punches. I don't necessarily think Wilder can knock Ortiz out but if he's left standing himself he should get the decision.

Wilder will come out with the jab. I'm interested in seeing how effective it is vs. Ortiz. He jabbed Stiverne to death in their first fight and snuck in power punches periodically. I anticipate a similar performance vs. Ortiz.
