Pedraza about to become the new Rocky Martinez.
Bravo! I couldn't have said it better myself.

You nailed the Top Rank blueprint exactly.

No one has more TBA's or mismatches than Haymon boxing cards! All promoters do mostly in house fights because that's how the maximize their profits. It's not just Top Rank!
Stay off the bottle or the other stuff

Gilberto Ramirez just fought a guy promoted out of South Africa and same for Ray Beltrans opponent. Jerson Ancajas fought a guy outside of Top Rank.

Then this Saturday you have a tripleheader on Showtime with PBC versus PBC in Wilder Ortiz and Charlo vs centeno (now pushed back to April) and Dirrell can Uzcategui.

So out of the 6 fighters on the broadcast 5 were PBC with Uzcategui the exception and he only got the fight because he’s the mandatory. But u don’t say nothing about the constant PBC in house fights. Smh.
You must have me confused with someone else if you think I'm a PBC defender lol. My issue with Top Rank is not just the in-house fights, but the WBO favoritism and the fact that most of their prospects are brought along very slowly, never take a risky fight and become world champions without having fought anyone. In house-fights are not really a problem as long as they are competitive. PBC does that too, but this thread was about a fighter signing with Top Rank and the title made me smile, that's all.

But since you brought PBC into the disccussion, look at how Julian Williams and Erickson Lubin were matched as prospects and but more importantly against who they got a title shot. Top Rank would never do that to one of their prospects, except maybe if his name is Lomachenko or Rigondeaux.

what are u talking about Top Rank matched their 2 undefeated prospects Mike reed and Ajose Ramirez on espn in November. Now Barboza is fighting Eeed next Saturday and Erik De leon is fighting Andy Vences and are unbeaten

Wouldn't mind seeing Pedraza I with the TR roster. Especially Beltran, Verdejo and of course Lomachenko. Verdejo vs Pedraza for the PR parade weekend would be good.
