Luis Ortiz Looking Sharp And Fast On The Pads, Deontay Wilder In Trouble?

    https://<blockquote class="twitter-t...f-8"></script>

Rumours circulating that Ortiz is weighing his career lightest in over 5 years.. If true this should be a much more interesting fight. Can Ortiz pull it off?

Of course he can. He is a highly skilled and powerful enough to take Wilder out if he fcks up. There are alot of people sleeping on Ortiz. I wont be surprised at all if he KOs or decisions Wilder, on the other hand I wont be surprised if Wilder does the same to him. This is a great fight and who ever wins should get the credit they deserve.

I’ve always thought this was a very tough fight for Wilder..... I lean slightly to Ortiz cause he’s the better fighter, if he has a good chin then for sure he should win. But over the last few weeks the narrative has weirdly turned into a “Wilder should win” situation and I don’t see why, that Stiverne KO really blinded people. Wilder is in DEEP for this fight. If he wins by KO or decision then he’ll have earnt my full respect at last.

When you want to cut through all the bull****, it's often best to just look at the IBO computerized rankings. No bias. No agenda. Simply based on who has beaten who.

Ortiz is the #2 contender in the world.

This is the moment of truth for Wilder. This is the moment of truth for Ortiz. I haven't been this excited for a fight since Klitschko vs. Fury and honestly as an American, this fight probably interests me more than Klitschko vs. Fury did.

Tomorrow is going to be great. If you're a real fight fan, who recognizes the big boys as the sport's defining division, it's very rare that you get two undefeated top 5 heavyweights fighting for the most prestigious prize in combat sports, the WBC heavyweight championship of the world.

It's fights like this that remind me of why I fell in love with boxing as a little kid.

Ortiz has a great chin. He keeps it tucked...has a short thick neck with big traps and a huge head and face. He's built to take punches. Wilder has a much thinner and longer neck...smaller head and never tucks his chin.

Ortiz likes to work the body and Wilder is small in the mid-section. Otiz has a great uppercut and knows how and when to use it. He measures a guy up and then slips it in.

Wilder throws wild but has good energy. I don't see a lot of ring IQ from him...no real skills to speak of and too many flaws.

If Ortiz has his energy reserve then he should win...but that's the question...although he appears to be in great shape but it's hard to know for sure from short videos.

Sure, but the IBO has been around a lot longer than boxrec, so I'm used to checking the IBO.
