He doesn’t need to fight Whyte, and AJ doesn’t need to fight Miller. Stop all the BS and just fight each other. The fight is big enough already
No it isnt. For this not to be a PPV Flop it needs 1 Million Plus PPV Buys for Showtime to even agree to it.With a straight face, Will this fight do even more than Ward-Kovalev on US PPV ? Joshua and Wilder are not known to the American Casuals yet.......Wilder only gets 900-1.3 Million on FREE TV or Normal Showtime....use your brain

It would make a hell of a lot more money than Ward-Kovalev. But for sake of argument let’s assume you’re right and it doesn’t, how on earth does fighting Whyte and Miller suddenly make this a 1m+ buys on US PPV fight????😂😂
And how does fighting the likes of Miller and Whyte make this fight much bigger in general? It’s not like Wilder and AJ squashing two irrelevant contenders is suddenly gonna transform this a fight from a a “PPV flop” to a PPV smash. The fight is literally as big as it can get in the UK, there is certainly room to grow in a America but fighting a nobody like Miller isn’t going to change that. For AJ to open the US market he has to fight Wilder

Wilder is already one of the biggest draws in US boxing. He's
single-handedly turned around a dead division in this country.

Finkel & Haymon has Wilder under contract for many more years. He's not going to sign with Hearn, or any promoter for that matter.
GTFOH America still watches HW boxing. It's just that most big fights happen in Europe. Klitschko-Jennings peaked at 1.7 mil views on HBO. Better than any numbers Wilder has done on a sub network. Klitschko was more known in America than Wilder.

What Hearn says is right. If Hearn was his promoter, Wilder would fight guys like Chisora, Whyte for much bigger money. On the other hand, AJ would get less money. Now is AJ Hearn`s only cash cow.

It wont go near 1 Million in my opinion, but that is the benchmark Vegas/Showtime will judge it by and if it was a sucessful PPV.Fighting Miller in New York is a intro to the US Audience/Market.Do you really think Hearn is going to let AJ just walk into America, with the chance of him being KO in the first couple of rounds by Wilder....That would destroy AJ's Hope of being a Star in America.Wilder knocking out Whyte in the UK,will boost the PPV Buys by a lot,UK PPV will generate a lot of fallback money if the US one falls. It looks like AJ will fight Miller in August,so what fight is better than fighting Whyte in the UK....

How can you predict how it will sell? Or what number Sho/Vegas will judge it successful? What evidence or experience is this based off??? You’re merely conjecturing, putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

Wilder beating Whyte will not boost PPV numbers in the UK significantly whatsoever, AJ-Wilder would already do massive numbers in the UK, Whyte is completely irrelevant to this fight. He is not required in order for this fight to take place or to sell well and nor is Miller.

True, but AJ isn't signed with him only associated with him. Imagine the headline if Wilder signs or Mayweather gives him recognition. Mayweather and Wilders mouth alone would sell fights making even more money.
