We can do a poll, and may consider returning to polling in future, but decided to stick with the original format to start off with. You're more than welcome to add your input when we have that discussion, man, but for now we just want to get this ish up and running again.

Thing is we would end up having to go through the thread anyway to check for pick changes and multipliers, but I think the main thing was that this way we get a time stamp on the picks so we don't have to worry about late entries... I certainly can't guarantee that I'll be around to do a screenshot at the start of the fight, but if we can reliably find another way of making sure we don't get late picks it'd make it more likely to return to polling.

The other reason is that we're guessing doing it this way will whittle out some of the posters who aren't really playing the game consistently but who just click on the poll cos it's there - like it's just another 'who wins' type of poll.

Too many Old Joes vote in the poll and don't care for the game. Just added work to burn us out quicker. Participants who really care spend the time to type out their decisions.
