The percentages on the fight results table on the front page? Ha ha. Each week I look at them empty boxes and they keep staring back at me accusingly. Working out the %s ain't the problem, it's going back through the old threads to count the picks and players... under the poll it was done automatically, of course, but it seemed like extra work to do it manually and a bit low priority when we were getting stuff running again, and now, (like most jobs you leave too long) just feels like a ballache.

Tell you what though, if you got the time to kill you can go back through the thread and count up the total number of picks and total correct in the tally posts we posted for each pick 'em. If you haul the %s together I'll input them on the results table. It's very much non critical so I can't see anyone complaining, equally if you can't be bothered it ain't a biggie - I'll probably get round to doing it sometime... like December maybe.

As we did last week, I've included a link to the pick 'em thread to make it easier for players to reference their picks and reduce the chance of errors. Per new procedure I have included a copy of the leaderboard prior to updating in post #426 (above). Once again this should make for easier error checking and ensure maximum transparency. Unfortunately this week I did not take screenshots of the Picks thread at the opening bell, but if anyone else thought to I would appreciate letting us know in case any queries are raised. We shall try to ensure that future pick 'ems are backed up with screenshots.

For the purposes of winning streaks the picks will be treated as effectively simultaneous. Any player getting any of the picks incorrect will have their current winning streak broken, but will be credited with a new winning streak equal to the number of picks they got correct (0, 1 or 2). Any players who got all three picks correct will, of course, have their current winning streak increased by 3.

As usual new players will only be added to the leaderboard if they have made at least one successful pick (ie. for Hurd, Degale or Williams). Players who are not already on the leaderboard will not be added if they picked unsuccessfully (I will highlight any such players in blue).

Players to be added to the leaderboard will be highlighted in red.

an * by a player indicates that their leaderboard entry has been updated for this fight.

Any player getting any of the picks incorrect will have their current winning streak broken, but will be credited with a new winning streak equal to the number of picks they got correct (0, 1 or 2). Any players who got all three picks correct will, of course, have their current winning streak increased by 3.

As usual new players will only be added to the leaderboard if they have made at least one successful pick (ie. for Hurd, Degale or Williams). Players who are not already on the leaderboard will not be added if they picked unsuccessfully (I will highlight any such players in blue).

Players to be added to the leaderboard will be highlighted in red.

an * by a player indicates that their leaderboard entry has been updated for this fight.

It don't really matter. The way people have written their picks is the reverse of the order in which they occurred, but in practical terms it makes no difference whatsoever except to the streaks where I've just continued the system I used for the double picks.

I've been looking at the fights for this weekend and there is literally nothing worth bothering with (less we fancy quickly whipping one up for Vargas vs Salka tonight ha ha). The only outside possibilities are the two title fights from Japan on Sunday and some moderately high rated women's match-ups... though I'm finding it hard to imagine much player interest in either.
