because pacuqiao has a finite amount of fights left, and id on't want to see one of them wasted on granados.

nothinga gainst granados, he's a gatekeeper type of fighter and he serves a purpose. keeps fighters and networks honest, can beat you if you don't belong in the big time.

but he's not worthy of one of pacquiao's last fights. we don't need another jeff horn. at least horn was a very big WW. granados could probably make 140 easily.


i want pacuqiao to retire. that's what's best for him and for the sport. but if he still needs money he's allowed to go on at this stage. he's not roy jones, looking like a totally shot fighter for a decade, and unable to beat anybody in the top 10. he's still got enough in the tank to give a good fight to the top 10ish WW, maybe even spark a few of them out. only spence, crawford, maybe thurman completely outclass him at this point. if pacquiao isn't fighitng those kinds of guys i would like to see him in epic style matchups, or in old grudge matches. marquez if he comes back, floyd if he comes back are the grudge matches. floyd fight doesn't need refighting, but it would sell. marquez would probably be another war, those guys don't know how to do anything else.

adn then there are epic style matchups. pacquiao vs matthysse would be a f#cking gunfight, and you know it. pacquiao vs garcia would be enother very intriguing match of styles. mikey is both potent and vulnerable. pacquiao is the same way. styles make fights, and if pacquiao can crack mikey that one would get wildly exciting.
