I don't think Canelo had success at the end because GGG let him, it was because he knew he was behind, as did his corner and really anyone objectively watching the fight, and decided to take it to the champ. He should be given full credit for that.
I think it was more that GGG didnt want the fight to go the distance, he started adding pressure and got sloppy, Canelo was picking him off. That's the fear of bent promoters and dodgy judges.
Plus GGG's corner had no game plan yet again
