Comments Thread For: Frampton: I Need To Get Everything Perfect To Beat Donaire

Despite being one win away from potentially securing his childhood dream, Carl Frampton is not getting carried away. Standing in his way is 'Filipino Flash' Nonito Donaire, who has lifted World Titles in four weight divisions during a stellar career. A triumph over Donaire on April 21st could set up a World Title shot at Windsor Park stadium in the summer, with the winner of Lee Selby v Josh Warrington a possible opponent for Frampton.

Im actually looking forward to this fight, could be a fun one. I like them both. Carm Frampton is very fun to watch, has sometimes real cool moments with the head movement and flurries, Donaire's left hook is always dangerous. That being said, Donaire is not what he used to and Frampton, well, he doesnt seem to be either. Where is the Frampton of the first LSC fight? Frampton did not look too great in his last bout, even though it was pretty entertaining as usual

Think it might be a case of who has more left in the tank at this stage, Donaire is battle worn and Frampton always looks vulnerable to me. Should be a decent fight though.

Most likely Frampton with home advantage and more motivation takes it, but we'll see! He seems like one of the sports nice guys, so I hope he gets to see out his dream at Windsor Park.

Even a past prime Donaire can win this, his left hook even stunned Walters who's a decently sized 126 guy and could be at 130 this year!

Frampton fresher fighter with more tools than this version of Donaire!

        Frampton by decision!

That's the thing, if you saw Frampton struggle against Garcia last time out, he might be on his way out. Time will tell - but he looked worryingly a bit like Degale against Truax.
