What did the fighters weigh the day of the fight?
Like one of the HBO commentators said over the weekend during the Estrada/Sor Rungvisai match, weight divisions can be deceptive now days. I'd like to see the fighters get weighed the day of the fight instead of the day before.

Thursday in Japan, the early morning hours for fans in the US, the rematch between Mexico's undefeated 23-year old Luis Nery (25-0, 19 KO) and Japan's 35-year old former bantamweight titlist Shinsuke Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19 KO). It was supposed to be Nery's second defense of the WBC belt he won from Yamanaka last August...

Also, if you think Marquez cheated against Pacquaio isn't it likely he just leveled the playing field? Pacquaio was about as suspect as any fighter alive at that point.
Concerning Nery, I believe his story. Mexican meat is dodgy. He also could've been contaminated by the other camp, I wouldn't put it past them.

a reigning bantamweight titlist showed up inside the featherweight limit.
There’s no excuse for that.
After the career he had, Yamanaka deserves better than the mess that has been his business with Nery over the last year. This isn’t a first offense. When Nery stopped Yamanaka and handed the veteran his first loss last year, it came back that he failed PED testing for the drug Zilpaterol.
yup......
imo they did him dirty......
also imo he coulda gave them the middle finger and fought someone else who actually made the weight so................

There are vegan fighters, though i am not insisting anyone should be told the cannot eat meat in mexico like this fool. Its obviously a meat problem and their government should get on top of it for everyone that lives there. Cant be the safest meat. Go organic is an option maybe. Idk lol
