To real boxing fans out there answer me this I'm unsure myself

Does ggg being 35 first fight n now 36 by the second hinder his chances of winning. By this i mean he's not as tenacious as he was or accurate which are age related but on the flip side canelo is quite slick doesn't get hit much in recent fights and he's in his prime. So I can't figure if it's an age thing or would golovkin of 5 years ago have overwhelmed today's version of nelo?, I still think it would be a chessmatch maybe a bit faster paced hard to say but trying to stay objective.

Well I'm not sure getting older once you reach a certain age is helping you in a sport like boxing thats for sure. So the what if question going back several years is fantasy bs no one can really know. And even how much GGG has aged from Sept. to May is a speculative question still, but history tells us sh^t can change fast for fighters once they start getting past 32, 33 years old. And most great fighters in boxing history ****** A$$ compared to their peak by the time they got to 35, 36.

And this isn't to excuse GGG if he loses or to diminish Canelo if he wins, but thats just the reality of this sport like it or not. Its a young mans game.

The first fight wasn't even close... So how is he going to go downhill all of a sudden?

Golovkin's biggest problem is himself. He seems to be lacking confidence in his power and his ability to take a punch. Lack of confidence can age you faster than time itself. Watch Hopkins in the later fights that he lost and you'll see. Especially his two fights with Taylor.

Of course there’s a chance GGG grows old overnight. In boxing and sports in general, people age differently. GGG peaked a few years ago but it’s a slight decline, I wouldn’t bet on him suddenly declining a lot in may
