He didnt run, he strategically moved around using the entire ring to offset & catch a "come forward" type fighter.......in a effort to land shots while catching him off balance. He did a damn good job. To get a draw against this wrecking machine was a major accomplishment! The fight was a draw to me.

One can easily argue GB waited for GGG to get old. Golovkin didn't look as imposing & destructive as he usually does, he looked far from it, and I don't know if at this point he can turn the clock back. Canelo is now training at higher altitudes for better endurance, I see no reason why he won't be able to now do an even better job against the now even older guy.

Moving IS boxing!! Sanchez is trying his best to get Golovkin to come forward, to basically now become a mannequin by appealing to his Mexican pride! Hopefully Golovkin doesnt fall for the hype and stays true the sports sweet science: hit and not get hit. Why should Canelo accommodate Golovkins seek & destroy style. You DON'T accommodate it.....he's not suppose to.....you offset it.....he just has to plant his feet some more and let his hands go.....easier said than done...... I "see" him doing this though, and getting the victory....

GGG better hope that Canelo has stamina issues in the rematch because as I watched the fight I noticed that everytime Canelo threw punches, it seemed like they landed. The first fight for Canelo was his first at full 160lb lets not forget that. So he wanted to make sure he can take GGG's power. if Canelo is ok taking GGG's punches GGG maybe in a lot of trouble.

He cut off the ring well, he was being cautious. He wasn't fighting a can. I don't see how anyone can't just enjoy the great fight we are going to see.

box against punchers, puncher against boxers is the rule. I think Alvarez fought a smart fight even though I had him losing.

If you tell everyone at the press conferences that you're going to knock someone out but then box in a manner which in no way would ever produce a ko vs someone like ggg, then expect there to be backlash. End of story.

He literally avoided contact as much as he could for the entire 12 rounds after saying that he was going to go into a Mexican brawl lol

Say what you want but that was less skilled Floyd fighting, not Mexican warrior fighting.

Floyd never promised to go to war before the fights did he? Do you get the difference?

Canelo's combos, precision and counter punching was outstanding, he just didn't do it enough to win. And Sanchez undoubtedly put Canelo and his inflated ego in the hot seat (and rightfully so).
