James Toney should be on the pound for pound list too.

Everyone knows that the authority on rankings is Boxrec. Valueve is clearly number one.

Good point, but hopkins didnt face guys with losing records of guys with 5 and 8 total fights, either.

Perfect. You just set yourself up. Its been said many times, that the fighters in the lighter weights get title shots quicker then the bigger weights, one reson being is because supposedly their ain't as many fighters to go around, so they get moved up quicker by the world organizations.

leon spinks in his what 7-8 fight defeats ali

jeff fenech in his what 7-9 fight won the world title

don't degarde this guy, if your a hopkins fan and accept hopkins career

Yes, but a 1-4 and 5-3 fighter should not get a title shot.
Im just saying hes won alot, but his resume isnt impressive.
ANd i dont really see how Hopkins is related here.

im relating hopking to this guy cause..... though i don't know his boxing career, neither did many of the new boxing fans ever hear of hopkins who for many years fought in obsurity. nobody cared about the middleweight division and nobody cared about the champion. and im sure back then hopkins got the same hate that you are giving to this guy. after all doesn't the ring magazine have him in the number 10 spot...yes they do, so they have probably watched a few of his fighters and feel his ranking is valid.

                    Hate???
I never said he wasnt a good fighter, i just said he is not P4P worthy, e****ially when Taylor DEFINITLY deserves to be on that list.
This was a thread about leaving off taylor, not that Wonjongkam sucks.
Personally, he doesnt suck, but top ten p4p??
                    No way.

Wow...this is the RING's list? That's pretty sad. Calzaghe, Wonjongkam, and Hopkins look like very suspect choices when you could have guys like Taylor, Darchinyan, Arce, etc. on there...
