Comments Thread For: Wilder: Joshua Has Avoided Me For Years, Hearn Milking The Cow

DEONTAY WILDER doubled down on claims Anthony Joshua has been avoiding a fight with him for more than two years. The American knockout king made an appearance on First Take this week ahead of his forthcoming WBC heavyweight championship clash with Cuban Luis Ortiz on Saturday night.

The payday sure wont hurt as an incentive. Not to mention the undisputed heavyweight championship. (Provided both win) if it does come off its a superfight if they promote the hell outta it.

Wilder says they're at a stand off. He wants 50/50, which is ridiculous. The fight won't happen until he's realistic. He's pricing himself out, the casuals don't know or understand that though so Wilder can keep talking crap.

Damn Wilder never shuts the f*** up, been targeting Joshua for YEARS?! He been pro for like 4 years what the f*** is he on about. If he wants the fight so bad go to UK and take the cut you are getting offered.

For years? He's only had a belt for what--a year and a half, and only had 15 fights at that point? That's not a good look for Wilder. I do believe they're letting AJ develop 1-2 more fights (pending if they really take the Miller fight next) while trying to age out Wilder just a bit more, even though he's still relatively young. If they both win their fights, the right thing to do would be to make the fight next. But this is boxing, and since boxing is a business and not a sport, they'll probably fight in 2045 on the moon.

Never heard him mention him til Joshua started packing stadiums. Dat payday doe.

Also, Klitschko, Whyte > anyone Wilder has faced. Damn even AJ’s heavy bag puts up more of a fight than Wilder’s best win, Stiverne.

He’s acting like he’s been calling Joshua out for years when really, it’s only been since the Klistchko fight. Hearn then tried to negotiate and it was “50% or NO FIGHT!” from Wilder.

Doesn’t really sounds like he wants it.

Wilder was hiding in a Alabama closet when klitchko reined

Once Joshua took the straps off wlad and fury went on a coke bender he piped up with his begging bowl

He’s crying because no one gives him any respect but the truth is he’s had 38 fights to get respect and he’s fought cans!

Ortiz is a step up for sure hopefully he doesnt f**t up his retirement aj fight
