Comments Thread For: Wilder on Ortiz: Doing Champs a Favor By Taking Out the Trash

Luis Ortiz is generally regarded as the most dangerous opponent of Deontay Wilder's career, age and all. So no, Wilder hasn't had any difficulty remaining motivated for their heavyweight title fight Saturday night at Barclays Center. The unbeaten WBC champion told Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith during a segment Tuesday on ESPN's "First Take" that while Anthony Joshua obviously is the fight for him, he is beyond ready to prove himself against the unbeaten Cuban contender (Showtime; 9 p.m. ET).

Have to respect Wilder for taking this opponent. All the lil hating ass chumps are gonna cry a million excuses & still not give Wilder his due that after this fight(if he wins) he'll be the heavyweight with the best resume & who has ducked no one but kept getting derailed by cheating pûssies whos vaginas the white supremacists latched to pathetically to the point they now claim a HW fighter demanding Vada every fight & who tests yr rd while still having the highest 40 fight ko % in history is somehow cheating. These lil groupie hoes would constantly cry Ward/canelo were peds cheating yet here they are now crying that a fighter demanding testing is a cheat & the 1 who got caught TWICE is somehow a righteous vanquisher of the yr rd vada tested "cheat".

        The irony of mental midgets.

"if Ortiz is the man I must defeat and knock out to get my due respect..." ...sorry Wilder, don't bank on the haters giving you any respect no matter what you do.

Just handle your business and move on.

Something tells me they would rather hate than bet against you!!
They may hate but they are not DUMB.

            Just handle your business.

Wildzilla might be mentally ready to ko King Kong, but is he really mentally ready for adversity, aka has a plan B. This Kong is coming to be king of the jungle. Like Wilder, he doesn’t know how to lose either. WAR WILDZILLA !
