  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin: I Will Dominate Canelo Rematch, Make It More Obvious

Gennady Golovkin admits he wasn't at his best when he faced Canelo Alvarez. The middleweight champion still feels he clearly defeated the Mexican superstar in their 12-round, 160-pound title fight September 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Only one judge, Dave Moretti, scored their competitive contest for Golovkin (115-113), who settled for a draw.

Will need to see it to believe it. If he fights like he did last time he will lose.

i think this time we might see a rejuvenate ggg. In the first fight, ggg looked off because he just came off a tough 12 rounds fight against jacobs. in the rematch, i expect to see a move live and energize ggg.

I'm sick of all these crybabies. G got a draw in a very close fight. G got a win over Jacobs in a very close fight. Thurman got a win over DSG in a very close fight. Thurman beat Porter in a close fight. Ward beat Kov in a close fight. Whenever there is a close fight, someone is always crying. You don't have to win by knockout, but if it is close enough where a sane, unbiased judge could score it for either fighter, than neither fighter did enough to be crying afterwards.

                    fix was in

Anyone who thinks that fight was a draw is not being honest with themselves. G is a zombie, took an overhand from canelo and didn't blink. Canelo can not hurt him. G knows that if he does not get a KO or at the very least two knock downs, the judges will give Canelo the nod again. Oscar has become a pathetic person as a promoter. as a fighter he took on all up and comers and fought with heart. as a promoter.. he's shady, political and delusional. in other words, he's perfect for his current profession.
