I hate how this seems to negate the fact that Kovalev had gassed badly 2 rounds prior and was losing the fight and was hurt upstairs and had nothing on his punches anymore. The stoppage was weird but a DQ??? would have been dumb. the ref should have broke it up and said "that last one was low keep em up? and then turn to kovalev and say "you were bending over at thee waist that's why he hit you low"

you are not allowed to bend over at the waist like that, it's viewed similar to turning your head and being rabbit punched. and if anyone says "the punches were low before he bent over"
I suppose the Earth is flat too?
Let me check my JUDGING manual on the "not allowed to bend over at the waist".......hmmmmmm...NOPE! No rule against that!! I call BS!! LOL!! I do not know what you are talking about. **** Ward was allowed to hold and hit hold and hold and shoot low shots which IS illegal but bending over at the waste is not yet Kov got penalized.

I might watch Kov again if he fights a real opponent, not some scrub to make him look good.

If Kovalev and Bivol win-that should be the next fight for both IMO. I would watch that.

He should tell some of the posters on here to do the same.
          +1

It's interesting how personal wins and losses can be for some posters.

Kovalev is a prick... He plays Mr. Nice guy when the cameras are around, other than that he's just some stubborn a$$ prick. I've gone to Robert's old gym where he and all other Klimas fighters train and seen first hand how he treats certain people. He talks about he and his trainer being on the same page and stuff but he still does what he wants and doesn't listen. From all the fighters that train there, Loma is a cool guy you can talk too but Kovalev is the biggest douche.

Kovalev is just kovalev, he does not have to be nice to everyone. I think you are a bigger prick for comming here and tell us all about it lol

He once asked to be Adonis' mandatory, was, then pulled out of a purse bid and refused to fight him. Frankly, he had crazy power at a time when the Kremlin was feeding Russian athletes all kinds of peds and helping them cheat tests and not get caught. In his second fight where that is not possible, he can't get the ko, gets in a dogfight, and just quits.

Stevenson, Jack, Bivol, Beterbiev... the lhw division has some good fighters and at least one good fight coming up shortly. Kov isn't top level anymore, but I do like that he is fighting in New York. If he's allowed his peds his fights are fun to watch.
Can you prove what you're saying about Kovalev usually being on PED in his fights, sir? Otherwise your sentence is just the usual, boring, ordinary, childish trash-talking.
