I did not know about half of that. Thank you for the insight. I remember watching the behind the scenes making of the promo vid on hbo and noticed he was a little overweight and canelo was ripped and I remember thinking, "Wtf, he's usually the one that's fit year round". Hope they're both healthy for this one.

I think he knew what was across from him and wanted to see what the kid had, he opened up in the 3rd and from the 4th on took the fight to Canelo but yeah, he definitely wasn't training during that last month of her pregnancy and it showed. People here started calling him fat G, plus there was the rumor he injured his knee or leg during the jacobs fight which K2 never addressed.

I'm quite suprised , positively suprised that Golovkin is talking openly about the HBO bias. I like both fighters but I agree with him. I can't stress enough how much better would it be if he had an interpretor all the time with him so we could really hear more of his honest, unfiltered opinions instead of ''this boxing, big drama show''.

No problem boss, you can go back and find the rumors. I don't know if there is any validity over it or not but if he was injured and needed rehab on it, that would kind of explain the lack of cardio between fights.

HBO was clearly protecting Ward and Canelo because they are the brand fighters in America today, and quite frankly the only ones they have to market. So yes, the HBo staff except lederman who scored the fights as follows:

Kovalev Ward 116-111 Kovalev

Ward Kovalev 68-65 Kovalev

GGG Canelo. 116-112 GGG

Lederman was spot on but HBO commentating was ridiculous in their favoring of canelo and Ward. They even kept ignoring the GGG power jabs every round and only showing power shots to try and make it look like canelo was in the fight.

The fact that corruption is the only way to protect the usa Boxing establishment fighters today shows how the entitlement community works in the usa urban community. It's all rigged to award things for underachieving. It will nev er change in real world economics when the weak are protected at the expense of the strong and in boxing where the protected classes of boxing in America is given entitlement at the expense of eastern European fighters.
