Both guys have power and great athleticism. It's just hard to pick who the better fighter is.

I don't think Wilder has faced opponents of the caliber of Garcia or Porter.

Thurman has been more impressive in his division than Wilder has been in his division, so I have Thurman ranked about Wilder. Thurman unified the two most prestigious championships. Wilder hasn't unified yet. Take the weights and names out of it. One guy faced another top champion to unify and the other didn't. So which has more definitively proven their dominance in their weight division?

Thurman is the better and more skilled fighter in my opinion. Wilder often throws wide wild sloppy punches and leaves himself open to be hit. He earned the nick name Windmill. Thurman has defeated 2 top 5 world rated welterweights while Wilder is just now fighting his first top 5 heavyweight. He needs a good win over Ortiz to catch up with Thurman. Thurman just barely makes my top 10 best pound for pound and Wilder doesn't make my top 10 best.
