  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder Taking Big Risk for 'Very Small Amount of Money'

NEW YORK Eddie Hearn respects Deontay Wilder's willingness to test himself Saturday night. Anthony Joshua's promoter questions, however, why Wilder would've embraced such a risky fight for "a lot" less money than Wilder would've made to fight Dillian Whyte in England.

I don't like Eddie Hearn, but you gotta respect that man's hustle... And he only talks sense when it comes to Wilder vs Joshua... Pure ego stopped Wilder and his team from accepting Hearn's £4m offer to fight Whyte, it made sense on every level. I think Ortiz exposes Wilder's flaws this weekend, before age and Wilder's power catches up with him - if he turns back the clock tho, it's anyone's guess, cause your boy Wilder really can't box.

That's because Windmill is scared shytless of Whyte. He's scared to fight outside of his back yard also. Man up bird legs and fight Whyte already!

Probably because he's a good promoter. A good promoter looks after his fighters and gets them the maximum amount of cash for the minimum amount of risk.

Wilder will regret promoting himself when Ortiz knocks him out.

                    Big Respect to Wilder

I like that Wilder's taking this fight, he's behaving like a True Champion. Win or Lose the champ can't be claiming he's not ready and selecting opponents carefully. He has been definitive about any person in the HW division but I believe these are the two best. At least top 4
