    Counters for the basic punches

    Hi some pro or coach can tell me pls all the best and safest counters for the basic punches for example i know for the jab the best is to throw the left hook.....no slipping and ducking pls only punch for punch what punch beats another punch thrown at the same time

    No slipping or ducking? If someone is throwing a shot at you first you have to either Parry, slip, duck, rock back or block the shot..you lost me with that one

      even if you jab and i wanna counter with a right hand i have to SLIP to the side!!

          Yea but i asked the counters without slipping or weaving like the left upercut when someone throws you a left hook to the head or body even better

            Another i know is right hook for right hook at the same time blocking your left side

                    It's not a video game. There's a lot more that goes into it. Your positioning and posture, your strengths, your opponent's weaknesses, what your opponent might transition into, your evaluation of the risk reward in that moment, etc. You drill many options, and hope that your mind comes up with the right response in that moment. If you think this is paper, rock, scissors, you don't understand the science yet.
