It was Hard to see but when i watched it live i thought Weeks was going to deduct a point from Andre. Fight shouldn't have been stopped, but i dont think Kovalev would have won it after that round tho.
Which proves Kov's point. Because the fight was stopped on that low blow, instead of a indisputable KO

2 pages of comments and nobody has mentioned the straight right that really finished the fight. Kovalev was out on his feet and he quit.

fan of neither but ward was the better fighter in the rematch and kovalev won the first

low blows or not watch it back kovalev wanted out he trained harder than ever for the rematch he wanted to demolish ward ko him brutally and soon as he realised ward aint going anywhere he offered ward his balls and ward took them from him lol

It's funny, because in fight one Kov had your BOY and underline BOY wobbling all over the ring and on his ass. His game plan was fouling. As usual the khunt from Oakland pulled every dirty trick. Go back to baking cookies bro. Boxings not for you. #casualdumbasses

He's still hurting. Ward took his soul. Time to see a shrink.

That doesn't matter until a LEGIT final bell. Early stoppage fan boy. See Weaver vs Tate on Youtube. Its a hurt game. Only the tough survive and they should be given the benefit of the doubt. I see zero casuals admitting Ward had his ass beat in the first fight. Selective mammaries lol!! #casual

Even though I wish they allowed Ward to finish Kovalev off, those blows were not low

Should he lie and say he lost fair and square? Nobody would believe him if he did

Man how did he quit when Weeks called off the fight while he was bent over in pain from a lowblow ?

How the hell is that quitting? Quitting is if you say No Mas or stay down the whole 10 count when you can get up....not when the ref calls off the fight without you seeing it

This is the last punch of the fight. Kovalev is covering the left side of his body with his left glove...ward then hits Kovalev on the B of Hublot...below the Beltline. You can see Kovalevs cup going up, Sergey reaching with his left glove to his balls and the ref stops the fight. How can people deny that this is a lowblow ?

Here are the other two punches of the last 3 shots that made weeks call off the fight...even these are really questionable shots. Looks like all of them were low but it was hard to see the direct impact

Waaaaaayyyyyy too many fan boys. As I see it, millennials started watching boxing in the last 5 years and they pick a fighter and then get on the soapbox. Very few that disparage a fighter by going personal are fight fans. They would be the definition of #casuals. It's a shame really. And for many it's racially motivated. Many of Wardaholics think Fraud is TBE. Think Wilder is legit. Hate the Russians, Call Lomaschnko Lomaducko. They are collectively the most ignorant of fans.
