that deverenchenko KO was brutal too. dude needs to hang em up and became a trainer/promoter or some ****.
Haha zombie taylor for sure, he was a bit out of it by then and it was sad to see Soliman get knocked down so many times because of that bad knee. The knockout loss to Deverenchenko was hard to watch, I guess Soliman just isn't on that level anymore.

Sammy should just hang em up already.

With clear Ws over prime Eastman and Wright highlight a career of robbery's and political sidestepping, he was just never going to be given his due.

Fighting on into his 40s just to be fed to prospects or robbed again by more pretenders isn't in his best interests.

Soliman's late career losses were largely due to a bad right knee that seems to be heal and functioning well now. He went 12 rounds at a good pace with Jayde Mitchell today after doing eight rounds with him on Saturday. He is remarkably fit for any boxer, let alone a 44-year-old.

This will Sam's last year in the ring. He's got a brand new gym in Southbank called Sam's Stable and has some good fighters coming through. I can live without seeing Mundine-Soliman IV though.
