The first fight was real close. I had Ward winning by one point. I have no problems with people saying Kovalev won by 1-2 points.

The second fight, Ward started taking over the fight as it progressed. But you have to admit, there were some definite low/sketchy blows. It's hard to say how much the low blows affected the fight, as well.

Really disappointed with how the series played out in the end. The first fight was a good fight, too.

Kovalev's balls/cup are way below the B on Hublot where Ward hit.

This shot here there is no space between his glove and top of the belt like there were for some of the more questionable shots including the one that ended the fight. Ward was coming on and Weeks was looking to stop the fight already, but to say there was no controversy in the second fight is to be dishonest imo.

Some ppl had him winning?? Some losing. But ALL can agree Byrd F'd up by stopping the fight early. Kovalov wasnt in serious trouble. Give him an 8 count or let Ward keep swinging. That stoppage was weak and cost Ward a NON controversial win...

I would of gave him an 8 count and asked do you want to continue. Make that fool say he quits! Then said fight! If he won't say he quits. Throw in towel or get KTFO.

It was on ppv for christ sakes!!! And ive seen guys bloody messes still allowed to fight.

Kov needs to forget about Ward because it would only be worse if they fought a 3rd time. There's enough in the LHW to give Kov plenty of competition. So focus on those guys.

What happened:

73% of a polled 60 media scores believed Kovalev won the first fight but Ward, who is perhaps more notorious than any other boxer ever for refusing to fight without a hometown advantage, got a fishy decision in a night plagued by blatant robberies where there was clearly money at play (Hooker v Perez).

The second fight ended via Kovalev hunching over following a low blow, not borderline, but directly to the athletic cup, which should have resulted in a point being taken and a moment to recover.

Ward is the one in denial about what happened both nights but luckily not many people buy his version.

Ward just didn't have enough to beat Kovalev, and I don't think he ever will.

This is exactly the case. Ward was the USA version of Park Se Heun who got gold over Roy Jones in the Olympics. Ward clearly got favorable treatment both by the referees who happened to be both from USA and black, and the judges all USA citizens.....

Ward truly is a disgrace and Jay z no doubt used him as some kind of symbol for his agenda which we all know is pretty disgusting...
