Calling these fighters bums goes right back to when you called Eubank and Benn bums.

Why can't you just stay quiet about things you know nothing about instead of illustrating ignorance?
why should i stay quiet when you ruin this site with hatred, anger, prejudice, ignorance, and arrogance?

you're in no position to tell some1 to stay quiet.

yes, toney has a good resume. NO, its not the best in boxing. stop trying to pad it with these nobodies.
How you've managed to stay around on this forum so long is mind-boggling, you have problems and should of been banned probably 100's of times over. You are scum.

Reggie Johnson was an excellent fighter back then, he beat a top, top prospect in Lamar 'Kidfire' Parks. Doug DeWitt was as tough as they come (he could fight with his face!), but he also doubled and tripled up his jabs and hooks as well as anything, when he was a teenager he was Hagler's main sparring partner, he went the distance with a peak Tommy Hearns, DeWitt was real. Prince Charles is one of the best post-war light-heavies, he was tops, if you've never seen him fight then you really have no place to comment. Sosa was known as one of the toughest men in boxing, and one of the best pressure fighters in the business. Tim Littles was a former lb4lb #1 in USA amateur boxing, and had never lost as a pro.

When it's you, and you're calling good pro boxers bums that you and I both know you've never seen fight, I'll tell you to be quiet every time.

        That's outright ******.

Just like when you called Chris Eubank a bum.

I may be a bit biased on Toney cause i like him, but JuicyJuice pretty much summed it up, maybe he doesnt have the "best" resume but he beat some good guys and delievered one of the biggest upsets in boxing when he beat the champ Nunn when he was a relative unknown, and even though he has "beefed" up he still manages to be a pretty good heavyweight when he doesnt have heavyweight power, which is a testament to his boxing skills and smarts.

Oh and it's no secret that Reggie Johnson used to get the better of Jones in Jones' own backyard, sparring in Pensacola circa 91/92. This is pretty much fact. Ask anybody who was there, Booker Word, Billy Lewis, Gainer, Lamar Parks, they all saw Reggie Johnson routinely getting the better of Jones in sparring. Jones fought Reggie when Reggie was far past his best, FAR past his best.

Hopkins fought nobody apart from a couple of blown-up welterweights, Jones fought nobody apart from a bunch of washed-up guys.

Toney fought and beat Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson and Mike McCallum in their primes, and his performance against Iran Barkley showed a level of skill that far exceeds anything I've ever seen from Hopkins or Jones. He's also been in with and whooped the asses of Doug DeWitt, Prince Charles Williams and Vassiliy Jirov, and schooled undefeated prospects like Merqui Sosa and Tim Littles who were never the same after losing to Toney.

He lost to Jones, sure, but he was in hospital the night before the fight having almost killed himself to make weight (entered camp late - weighing 222, and took Jones lightly), and it was the worst style match-up for Toney ANYWAY.

Toney, when he was 'on', was the smoothest counter-puncher of all-time. He's probably the slickest infighter in boxing history. Now, was he a concussive puncher? No. Did he have a lot of raw power? No. Did he put guys to sleep with one shot? Yes. He wasn't a Hard puncher, but he was a GOOD puncher. That guy was all skill, and he has the best resume in boxing by miles.
He schooled Sosa all the way to an SD.

By the way, those reports are false.
You are totally making that up, becuse none of that information was stated by Toney or his camp.
In addition to this, Toney said he wasnt have weight problems before the fight.
Stop making **** up to prove your points.
RJJ beats Toney 10 outta 10.

Toney had it all, jab - top, body punching - top, ability to slip punches - top, ability to cut off the ring - top, fast hands, flash combinations, and he could put you on your back when the time was right. Awesome fighter.
