What was the booing about in the Nietes fight?

I was admiring Nietes' work, watching him box the guys ear's of while making him miss while being in front of him then landing every punch as a head snap but for some reason he got booed, and a lot of punches were being thrown in that fight.

I enjoyed how Nietes lived up to his name as the "Snake", moving like one with that jab and striking with such precision.

Booeing was absurd... also the booe ing after the Rungvisai-Estrada fight was terrible.

Mexican fans are knowledgeable but can be very biased.

It was the Pac-JMM 3 crowd again. I had that fight a draw in a very close fight... but you know the "fans" weren't happy.

Yeah, I was like WTF? You see 1 guy teeing of on the other guy with 5-6 punches then slipping 5-6 punches then what do you want? Want the guy trade punches when 1 is clearly more dominant the other.

Yeah didn’t seem like it was a fight that was worthy of boo’ing.

Obviously we are hardcores so we are probably more likely to appreciate all styles then a casual who would be quicker to boo, but last night was strange. I didn’t have a problem when people who paid their hard money boo’d in some of Lara or Rigo’s performances, but last night punches were being thrown the whole time so it seemed unfair to Nietes.
