The thai fighter was outlanded through the whole fight and was always left in awkward positions because Gallo's counterpunching and side to side movement.

They used to award Mayweather rounds for 7 punches landed per round but now seems like counter punching and smart boxing doesnt count.

    Casual your fcking ass.
What that guy probably means is that Sri landed the harder punches. Estrada was far from effective when he needed to be. Simply too little too late. He didn't throw enough in those awkward position exchanges. Sri even looked like he took more damage because he's 31. But anyone who watched the fight knows Sri landed the harder punches. Plain and simple, not enough "counter punching and smarter boxing" compared to the power punches he took.

P.S. If you saw the compubox numbers after the fight, you would know he Estrada did not land more power punches or punches in general. Look, I think Estrada is the better boxer, he just lacked power and experience in this fight.

    • 115-113 or 116-112 for Sor Rungvisai are fine. 117-111 is too wide. Great fight!!

Difference is that estrada took far less punishment in his fight with sor. He wouldn't be going into the fight damaged goods like choco was. Good win for sor though. Superfly 4 is one to watch

Usually he's on point but I think he was DRUNK or some sht when he called Kovalov's last fight. He was saying the wrong guy was bleeding and calling wrong punches landed??? He was VERY TERRIBLE. And he was bad also in Gamboa's last fight.

            • Max Kellerman has definitely getting more biased towards ceetain fighters as well lately. Nothing like his early days work. Currently Paulie is my fav. But even he says whacked sht at times...

              • Good close fight but that 117-111 scorecard was some BS!!! No WAY Estrada only won 3 rounds.

                • I just wish Estrada would have started his aggression a couple rounds earlier. He could have won it. He was too weary of SR's power early and that is what cost him. Rematch would be great.

That is all part Of Srisakets underrated skill set. Notice how easily Srisket controlled the range. Estrada could never get enough space to get a breather, thanks to Srisakets footwork and combinations.

Also those "awkward positions" as you call it were by design.
Srisket controls the angle and positions himself so he is harder to hit cleanly with right hands all while being able to turn and counter with a left either to the body or the head. By doing this he took away Estradas accurate combinations...

I've noticed nearly all these plebs on boxingscene have no idea what is in front of them when they watch Srisaket...

This just made things all the worse for Estrada.....
