  • Comments Thread For: Donnie Nietes Drops, Stops Juan Carlos Reveco in Seventh

The Forum, Inglewood, California - IBF flyweight champion Donnie Nietes (41-1-4, 23 KOs) retained his title with a seventh round knockout of former beltholder Juan Carlos Reveco (39-4, 19 KOs). A very tactical start, which saw Nietes control the action at a measured pace. Reveco was unable to do much in rounds two or three, as Nietes continued to outbox him with ease and blocked most of the shots that came his way.

It really sucks that other Filipino boxers gain more attention than Nietes when in fact he has achieved more than what they have.. It could be because of the promotional company he had

                  Martínez was good.

Maidana always fought with a great advantage in weight and never fought with rivals with power.
