Beyer is of course the experienced champ (much like Calzaghe was with Lacy) and he has won many times where people thought that he wouldn't, but this time he won't

Team Palle has offered Sauerland 1,25 million Euros.

Team Palle also offered Sauerland German television rights. That alone generates perhaps a million Euro for Sauerland.

That is a huge offer. There are more money involved than Calzaghe got from fighting Veit in Germany.

Therefor Sauerland is interested. Rather lose the tite in Denmark for a lot of money instead of losing it for half the money to Andrade.

Where does Team Palle got the money from? First they will stage the show in the national soccer arena, Parken. With proper ticket prices hopefully 20.000 - 30.000 spectators will show up.

And perhaps Team Palle will be backed up by Showtime. They were in Copenhagen two weeks ago to discuss the future of Kessler

Beyer is and always has been a bit of paper tiger, Kessler looks good to me and Beyer is only taking this fight because he wants a payday, Beyer knows he is going to lose too!

This is great news, but I seriously doubt Beyer is going to come to Denmark. German fighters do not travel, especially not to the opponent's hometown.

Calzaghe should have been doing everything he could to get a Kessler fight for the fall after both he and Kessler had to pull out of their summer fights...disappointing. I hope Calzaghe-Johnson still happens, nothing else is as attractive for the 168 lb. king...except the winner of Saturday's fight...but I seriously doubt Winky can be as great at 168.
