Golovkin is gonna cash out with this rematch and pull out a 'Maidana'. Well done GGG! The reality is that Golovkin is old and his best days are behind him.

This is hilarious Tom got bent over again in negotiations this is spin control. Canelo fighting on his date, his venue, his name first on all posters, him entering the ring last despite GGG owning the belts, a Golden Boy edited promo video was released to announce the fight, and Canelo taking the lion share of the money...but sure keep trying to spin it.Comment

Yup this clown acting like he dictated anything.
I remember Tom saying after the fight if we don't get a rematch deal ironed out in 1 week GGG taking another fight, then that passed and he said if we don't get a deal by Oct we fighting someone else in dec. Then in Dec said if we don't get a deal by end of Dec we fighting someone else in feb. lol at Tom who was pushed around by golden boy at every step and it got made on their time line with canelo getting every A side privilege. This is like maidana saying Floyd knows I won that's why I got a few extra peanuts to fight him in a rematch. Tom is basically saying we got ****d in negotiations the first fight and this time they atleast rubbed vaseline before going to town on us. LMAOComment

In perspective, it's expected
Anyone that truly follows the game had to know that negotiations would be the sticking point. Tom likely negotiated a 60/40 split but wouldn't be at all supersized if GGG gets even less than 40% in exchange for a better share of the PPV.
Fight negotiations these days are tough. Arum invented the art of leveraging the A side vs the B before it was perfected by Oscar and raised to another level by Floyd.
Today establishing side A vs B is the marketing fight before the fight and Oscar / Canelo won that battle years ago.
Frankly, I'm grateful that Tom fought hard but didn't let that get in the way of the rematch.Comment
