    Koki Kameda
    Osaka, Japan
    11W(10KOs)-0D-0L
    Light Flyweight

    BoxRec

Fast-rising teenage sensation, power-punching southpaw, rated WBC #2. Retired come-backing Thai legend, and former long-time WBC/IBF Light Flyweight champ Saman Sorjaturong (remembered for his The Ring's 1997 Fight of the Year with Chiquita Gonzalez). Also beat the hell out of former WBA Minimumweight champ Noel Arambulet.

He'll take on Juan Landaeta tomorrow (2nd August 2006) for the vacant WBA Light Flyweight title, I expect him to be the new champ (in only his 12th pro fight).

BTW, he along with his brother Daiki, sings after punishing their opponents.....to ease their pain perhaps.

it entertains the blood-thirsty fans, and it adds insult to injury to the beaten fighter..............only in Japan.

I cant beleive noone has mentioned Jason Litzau yet!

                "American Boy" Jason Litzau
                St.Paul, MN, USA
                19-0-0 (17kos)
                Featherweight

5'10, Orthodox, 23 years old. Hes faced some serious competition and has walked through them all. Was listed in ESPNs Top 17 Friday Night Fights history in his bout with John Nolasco.

I dont know if Barrios is now a contender or what but he deserves mentioning.

                Jorge Rodrigo Barrios
                Tigre, Buenos Aires
                46-2-1 (33kos)
                Super Featherweight

Recently Koed Janos Nagy of Hungary (previously undefeated) with a perfect shot to the kidney in the first half of round one. It was a hell of a 40seconds though.
