Comments Thread For: Horn Suffers Camp Setback For Crawford After Robinson KO

Jeff Horn's trainer, Glenn Rushton, admits that last weekend they suffered a setback when Ray Robinson was knocked out Yordenis Ugas. Ugas and Robinson were fighting in a final IBF welterweight eliminator at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, as part of the Danny Garcia vs. Brandon Rios undercard.

I think Horn's team is focusing too much on the left-handed thing.

Crawford is going to give them all sorts of problems even if he fights orthodox the entire fight.

Ray Robinson looked like garbage that fight Smh He was throwing punches that begged to be countered. I don't think Robinson would make that much difference anyway. They need to just focus on coming up with a good strategy besides no fighter they can get for sparring will compare to Crawford anyway.

Trust me, that's not a set back. Robinson is trash and Crawford is elite. That's like preparing to face a major league pitcher by hitting off of a tee.

It's on the trainer. the same thing is going to happen to Horn who is a rugged but **** fighter. It's a shame they only have in house sparring partners. Hey if Horn is THE MAN like they think spending money on sparring partners is a top priority. LMAO so Robinson was supposed to mimic Crawford? LMAOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rushton is now evaluating their options to bring in a new sparring partner to replace Robinson, who was viewed as a very good selection for them.

He was shocked at the reckless way Robinson fought in that ring that night.

The trainer admits that it hasn't been easy to secure sparring partners who resemble the fighting style of Crawford, but they have several names that he won't disclose at the moment.
