    don't bother with the music, its the video you need to mess with...

    You need to cut the clip of video right where you want the commentary to get louder, and then where you want it to fade away again....

    insert that clip...

    right click on the audio part of the video and change the volume...

    WMM will automatically lower the volume of the music slightly for you until the video's audio goes away...


    hope that helps...

    stuff like this is where the real deal editing programs become nice where you can unlink the audio and video and mess with everything individually....but they cost loads of money for good stuff, trust me I know...($800 for Adobe Premier Pro, $500 for Sony Vegas)
