    I agree

Jojo can cruise and just shut guys out but when he wants he can sit down on his shots and hurt his opponent.

Haymon gonna have to let Russell fight jojo or he gets stripped.

Joseph Diaz Jr. emphatically took his last step Thursday night toward the featherweight contender's shot at Gary Russell Jr. The undefeated Diaz floored former super bantamweight champion Victor Terrazas three times on his way to a third-round knockout victory in what was considered a tune-up fight for Diaz in Indio, California. ESPN2 televised Diaz's win from Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino.

I expected a blow out but still nice win for Jo Jo.

I was disappointed Christian "Chimpa" Gonzalez came out flat cause he's a hometown boy.

His brother Alejandro "Cobrita" Gonzalez Jr went the distance with Carl Frampton in 2015. Gonzalez was a massive underdog. Cobrita scored two knockdowns in the first round and appeared to ruin Frampton's night. But Frampton shook it off and came back strong. Frampton won a decisive unanimous decision in a action packed fight on Premier Boxing Champions. Tragically he was murdered in Guadalajara execution style in a Cartel hit in 2017 at the age of 23.

Diaz is a good fighter but no one should count Russell Jr out. He's added quite a bit of power to his speed (In fact he doesn't rely on his speed as much). This won't be easy for Diaz. Even though he was thoroughly outclassed by Lomachenko he started landing some shots towards the end. Also, he didn't quit against Lomachenko so the experience alone should leave him better prepared for a fighter like Diaz.

My big problem with Russell Jr is he has terrible footwork. I don't know how someone that fast actually shuffle his feet when he's fighting.

This Chimp fighter has no brains at all! Easily the worse defense I have seen in a fighter in a while. He didnt learn from his last fight. Talk about a worthless inflated record.

Chimpa is not the brother of Cobrita Jr he is his uncle, Alejandro Gonzalez Sr. and him are half brothers.

sad to say but Chimpa is done! Romero Duno stole his soul with that vicious KO a year ago. He's not the same fighter his confidence is gone, he's too easy to hit. Perez is better then his record says he's just been in with some really great fighters but he is small and just got dominated by Lamont Roach and Jessie Magdaleno recently. Perez is a guy who puts on a good show, durable, but get's beat by top fighters. And that was against guys at 122, 130 ect. He had no power at 122 and flat out rocked a full 135lb Chimpa multiple times. Golden Boy put him in with a professional small journey man his 3rd comeback fight and he couldn't win. Whatever promise he had as a fighter was beaten out him by Duno and if you can't beat Perez you should think about retiring because if he steps in the ring with a 135lb with pop he is taking another vicious KO.

What a difference a year makes this kid was at one point a top prospect that Golden Boy was investing a lot of time in. Now he looks like he's finished.
