So just to be clear, when mathysse was in his prime he couldn't beat garcia. But now, after going through hell to beat molina, quitting vs postol, and looking terrible vs a nobody in his last fight, he's going to beat garcia who's pretty much the same fighters he's always been? Anyway, the division, lead by Thurman, isn't growing balls any time soon. Time for Spence to move up and seek bigger and better challenges than these guys.

Yes I think Thurman is hoping Spence gets bored of waiting for a real fight and moves up. I will really respect Danny Garcia if he actually fights Spence but I suspect that he’ll hide behind the excuse that he has a mando shot at Thurman coming up. WW Amir Khan steps up to Canelo up at MW and gets knocked cold yet he is positioning for a fight with Kell Brook who at least fought Spence and gave him a good scrap.

Lucas and Golden Boy need to think about trying to get a Jessie Vargas type next if possible. If he could be a fighter like Vargas next then he would be in line to fight a top 5 to 8 Welterweight next.

But honestly I think the best he gets in my opinion is an in house fight with Antonio Orozco.

Those were some of the names I was thinking of as well. Matthysse didn't really look that great last fight so maybe one more fight before a name he really wants.

There is another LW/WW that fought on a GBP show that looked pretty decent as well--looked good enough to make a fight with Orozco or Matthysse.

can't remember his name or which show, he might have been Argentinian as well.

What does Khan stepping up to get knocked out by Nelo got to do with a fight with matthysse and this thread. I just dont see what your trying to say??
