$80/ppv * 1.3m buys = $104m. Network takes half (actually less) = $52m. If Golovkin accepted 30%, which he didn't, that's $52*.3=$15.6m

Realistically, you're looking at:

$80/ppv * 1.45m buys = $116m. Believe I saw somewhere HBO takes 42%, so $116m*.58 = 67.3m. Golovkin probably took ~40%, which gives him $27m

Network / PPV take 45% ( 52.5 million)

40% to K2 360 = 25.4 million
60% to GBP Alvarez = 38.1 million

So 15 million flat fee to an extra 10 million was better off of course. After murkier USA based tax the whole K2 gang gets 12 million. Not bad for everyone for pandering Mexicanism

Mostly likely it’s the same splits again. K2 and gang were very lucky to get that split. Basically they’ll do anything to work with GbP again

loeffler is a promtor, most promtors don't take a percentage.

abel is a trainer, but does some publicity type work because he probably likes the attention. industry standard for a trainer is 10%, somtimes less is negotiated for a big fighter who will be getting a huge purse. 20% is nearly unheard of unless he's incurring expenses. i do know that he houses a lot of fighters, but golovkin may pay rent, probably pays sparring partners, pays for aspects of the camp like living expenses for his team.

That all depends what Abel, Loeffler, and mgmt are declaring in their roles to be affected by such a law.

Loeffler and Abel look like goons... and Abel himself said money is more important than legacy, and you wonder why they stalled negotiations with the Canelo fight or with Jacobs. Whatever doe, they can conduct business as they please.
