This would be all wrong for Mikey. Even if he does have some success he would take a lot of punishment. Spence is not the one to take on as a challenge unless you're absolutely certain you can beat him without getting hurt in the process.

Regardless to what Mikey says, I don't want Spence to entertain the fight. It is a waste of his time. Jessie Vargas, Devon Alexander, Luis Collazo (maybe), Ugas, Adames, Omar Figueroa are all fights that I would prefer over Mikey, assuming fights with Bud (very unlikely), Thurman, Garcia, and Porter won't get made. I know the Mikey fight could be "bigger" than some that I named, but time is also money, and Mikey does nothing for him.
