Fair points. I would have to revisit Mall vs Trout but I know Lara dominated Trout and knocked him down. Basically doing everything except get the stoppage. My mind keeps going back to the first half of the Hurd vs Trout fight. I keep seeing how easy Austin Trout was making outboxing Hurd look.

Until Trout got tired and slowed down of course. I would like to think if Lara schools this cat, he might reclaim some of the love that he has lost on various occasions. This should really be an exciting Erislandy Lara fight!

I'm not big on Lara, but that's not the reason why I voted Hurd. I understand that Lara is levels above Hurd, but every so often the better boxer gets beat by a bigger, stronger, more determined guy.

I think that's what we have in front of us with this.

I think Lara shows his skills here. That said he's not been in with a guy as good as Hurd in awhile & he's gotten to an age where guys start to wind down so who knows. If Lara is up 3-0 at the end of 3 its probably a solid bet his days aren't over yet. If its competitive from the get go than Lara's time might be up or Hurd is a real one.
