Comments Thread For: Hearn: Jacobs Deserves Shot at the Winner of Canelo-Golovkin

NEW YORK Eddie Hearn was blunt Tuesday. The British promoter appreciates the platform and the opportunities HBO has afforded Daniel Jacobs since the former WBA middleweight champion signed a contract last fall to fight exclusively on that premium cable network. Jacobs and his manager, Keith Connolly, also are thankful for a deal that has compensated Jacobs well thus far.

Hell F-CKIN’ NO. Weight cheaters who fight nobodies do not get a shot. Get back in line and earn it you cheater pos. If anyone who deserves to fight the winner it is Billy Joe Sandals.

No he doesn't. Not until he beats a legit top contender like Charlo, Andrade or Deryvachenko.

Boxing should be run like an actual sport, where contenders have to face each other.

Shame on HBO for purchasing this weak event.

The line up behind Golovkin is a long one. Time to think of a plan B and a plan C for a next opponent.

BJS should be next as he has a belt, and then Jacobs provided he gets one more solid win

Saunders doesn't want any part of Jacobs that's why (at least not before Canelo / GGG)

I agree with some comments here that DJ should fight someone alive to deserve a shot at winner of GGG vs Canelo...

Beating Arias and Sulecki don’t earn you title shots, never mind the winner of a super fight.
**** Eddie Hearn, he’s just full of ****.
