Comments Thread For: Warren: Eubank is Domestic Level, How About Groves-Saunders?

A VALUABLE LESSON played out in Manchester on Saturday night for any young boxers who believe or are encouraged to believe that they know it all. The truth is none of us do and be assured this tough, tough game will always find you out. George Groves has operated at the top end of the world super middleweight division for some considerable time now, enduring a number of numbing lows before savouring the high of becoming a world champion.

Maybe euro level but above British, should try for the Euro belt as would be a good learning and come back fight but he only wants world title fight and it will sell because of his name.

Domestic level? Because Groves, who's the man in the division beat him?

Nobody wants to pay for a Saunders fight so I understand why Warren's out there name dropping and making a fool of himself.

Right now after the loss Eubank could fight someone like Murray and fill out the O2, Saunders can't even do that as a "world champion". Boring and classless.

He is probably euro level, maybe fringe world contender level at most. I think it's basically confirmed that when he comes up against a fighter that can genuinely mix it at real world level and can fight smart, he will get dealt with. It is what it is. I don't really see im getting any better. He's 30 next year, not a young prospect anymore and he can't do the basics he should have been learning when he was starting out.

He could probably pick up a world title though. You don't really have to be a world class fighter to win a world title these days. Just land nicely into a vacant title fight against a soft touch.

Euro level or not, Eubank jr. is stil top 10 in division. But this division is not very good.

Who else? Badou Jack moved up.

Ramirez shares his most important win with "this ****ing bum of Eubank".

You cannot do it on your own because you need wise heads to guide and plot out a career – not just to lurch from one madcap strategy to another.
True. When asked about facing a veteran and skilled fighter like Groves, Eubank Sr paused for a few seconds and said one word, "WILL". Like all anyone needs is self-belief.

As current #1 @ 168Lb George is top draw & worthy of a 70/30% financial purse split, which I really can't see Fi$h £yed Frank agreeing to!!......
