I know you say that, but there's nothing to back up your claim. He called out Cotto, began negotiating to fight Cotto, but then GB wouldn't allow the fight unless he signed a long term exclusive promotional agreement with GB, so the deal fell through. That doesn't change the fact that Mikey wanted the fight.

Linares is Mikey's mandatory. We will see very soon who ducks who when the purse bid is ordered. If Mikey vacates rather than going through with the purse bid, that will be a duck. Let's see. LOL I still find it hilarious the way in which Lipinets got his title. Not to blame Mikey for going up and taking the belt off of him for an easy fight, most fighters would do it, but Linares and Easter are better opponents than Lipinets.
