That's what I'm seeing too! Wilder vs. Joshua will never happen!

You could have named any current boxer and none of those people would have known them.

Hahahahaha c'mon dude you really think Wilder wouldn't move on 50/50 if he received a reasonable offer?

Hearn wants dates for his stable if you want to land Joshua. That is the game being played here. If HBO offers a bunch of dates, kiss goodbye to a Wilder fight.

Parker asked for half the money too. Didn't stop Hearn from wanting the fight. He viewed the fight as an easy win and he negotiated and got the fight done.

The problem isn't 50/50 on the money. The problem is that it's 50/50 in the ring and Hearn doesn't want to take that chance. The money isn't the problem. The deal would easily get done at 60/40 if Hearn was confident Joshua would win.

If that were the case Wilder should be saying he would take 60/40 and nothing less, rather than 50/50. I don't think anyone could then be having a debate about it. Wilder (as of now) hasn't done that. One thing wilder is doing my constantly brining out Joshua's name is building the fight and that can only be a good thing for revenue and therefore increase the likelihood of it happening. I'm still expecting wilder to fight whyte first and to be honest I think that's beneficial to all involved too.

Why would he open with the figure he's hoping to close with? If you don't mind me asking, what is the biggest deal you've ever negotiated? Is it possible that negotiating is not your area of expertise and these things work a little differently than you perceive as a layman?

I guess Hearn wants to introduce AJ to the American market before he fights Wilder.

If that was the case. Miller wouldn't be the opponent.

You think HBO puts Miller in the co-feature of two HBO World Championship Boxing cards after having no interest in him previously, signs Jacobs to an exclusive long term deal, puts in huge bids for the last two AJ fights, just to have AJ vs. Miller take place on Showtime?!?

If it's Miller, it likely means AJ is heading to HBO, with HBO giving Matchroom a bunch of dates in exchange. Which is Hearn's #1 goal. Get a broadcaster to give him 12 dates a year in the US. Using AJ as leverage to make it happen. Like Don King did with Tyson. Like Haymon did with Mayweather. This is how the game is played. I warned you guys about this last year.

Lol!! Did you read anything other than the headline?? He literally mentions Wilder by name and says he lives in “fantasy land”...

Anyway, this is an obvious attempt at a power play by Hearn to say 1) we don’t need you Wilder to crack the US market and 2) if we do crack the US market your slice will get even smaller...

Assuming both win, I predict AJ-Miller then AJ-Wilder in December... Povetkin will happily take step aside money while continuing to juice and beat up nobodies awaiting a crack at the winner for all 4 belts (but probably failing a drug test when his chance comes anyway lol)...
