Lebedev recently had a much worse injury and didn’t quit.
I spoke to a fighter last Saturday, Jamie Humble, who suffered a brain injury in last fight. He didn’t quit!
Israel Vasquez recently lost his eye, he didn’t quit, Margarito eye was nearly hanging off vs Pacquiao, he didn’t quit.
You people defending Brook literally have no self respect nor dignity, nor respect for this sport.
Pathetic🤮🤮🤮

Brook fought both back 2 back...and that wasnt enough??? U lame asf
Back on topic, there were a bunch of fighters that got destroyed by GGG before Brook. They don’t get credit. Brook did this to himself. That was dumb to move up when everyone knew he stood no chance. He had Vargas that was try to fight him but Brook pulled out of that one. And that was a unification fight. He didn’t even try to get a fight with Thurman or any other top 147 guys. He just rode Khan’s nuts and then said he can’t get any fights at 147. But then went on to say he’s facing GGG because he wants all the big fights. He hadnt fought anyone of note to be worth the best fights. So he went up for he money and got his ass beat.
Then held the belt hostage until he was forced to come down and fight Spence. He did not want to.
So maybe if he had called Spence out or another top guy in HIS division, then he’d get more credit. But he was forced so he doesn’t get ****.

I didn't have a problem when the corner stopped it against a Golovkin. I did have a problem when he chose to take a knee against Spence. When you quit more than once it says a lot about character.
Gavril fought with a broken jaw and nose. You gotta respect a fighter like that.

Brook could have dropped IBF belt, would have been convenient.
Keep this same energy for these guys ducking Spence as we speak.
Regardless of why...or if it was smart. He deserves respect

I don’t give people credit for losing convincingly or quitting?
Do you?
If so why not give Gregosz Proksa credit for merely fighting GGG, or Van Heerden credit for merely fighting Spence.
We should just give Rigo credit for fighting Loma then quitting by your logic.
And Duran quit in a worst way....so stob it.

What you call a ***** move, most others would just call intelligence and maturity. Only a fool would be willing throw away his eyesight or fully functioning brain for the aforementioned reason.
I’m questioning him as a FIGHTER. The vast majority of fighters would’ve fought on, is that intelligent? No. But nor is getting punched in the face for a living to begin with. This sport is all about courage, desire, mental toughness, heart etc and Brook proved against Spence he doesn’t have those traits. He and you can make all the excuses you want about injuries etc. It doesn’t change the fact he QUIT when other real fighters have fought through much, much worse and frankly, will continue to do so whether It’s foolish or not cause they have those traits Brook clearly lacks.
