Comments Thread For: Eubank Sr. To Eubank Jr. - The Decision Was The Right Decision

CHRIS EUBANK JR was scolded by his dad Senior in the dressing room after losing to George Groves in the World Boxing Super Series on Saturday night. Junior was outclassed by the bigger, more experienced man over 12 rounds at the Manchester Arena as Groves delivered on every promise made before the WBA super-middleweight title showdown.

Much respect to Eubank Sr for admitting defeat.
But why would they replace Grooves if he can't fight on June 12th?? Why not postpone the fight till he's healed and capable to fight.... He's earned the right to fight in the final....

Everyone in that room knows the guy got embarrassed. They all need to give him the straight up or he'll never grow as a fighter.

Snr was good in the post-fight presser too. For all the talk leading up to a fight he is an honest guy and is just looking out for his son.

Props to Mr. Eubank Sr. for having the integrity to tell his son the truth. I know that had to hurt! By the way, shouts to Barry Hunter for his treatment of Lamont Peterson. I know that really hurt too! Now, back to the regularly scheduled programming! I hope the WBSS winner faces DeGale! We also need Benavidez vs. Zurdo Ramirez in 2018! C'mon Al, C'mon Bob! That one is as ready as it gets!

It's of paramount importance for a fighter and his corner to not think dishonestly.

So good job Eubank Sr for telling it like it is.
